Who is responsible

What data we collect
Replacemeter has no user accounts and no forms that collect your name or email. We process:
- Usage data: pages viewed, device, browser and approximate location, collected by Google Analytics.
- Advertising data: cookies and similar identifiers used by Google AdSense to show and measure ads.
- Technical data: IP address and request logs processed by our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, to deliver and protect the site.
- Data stored only on your device: the checkboxes in your survival map plan are saved in your own browser (local storage). They are never sent to us.
Why and on what legal basis
- Analytics and personalised advertising: your consent, which you give or refuse in the consent message shown on your first visit (GDPR article 6(1)(a)).
- Security and delivering the site: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (GDPR article 6(1)(f)).
Who receives data
Google (Analytics and AdSense) and Cloudflare (hosting and security). These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Cookies
Analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you consent. You can change your choice at any time through the "Privacy and cookie settings" link or by clearing cookies in your browser.
How long we keep data
